LAMARTINE CONSEIL promotes 2 new corporate and restructuring partners

Paris, 12 February 2024 – In parallel with the opening of its offices in Nantes and Lille in 2023, LAMARTINE CONSEIL is pursuing its internal promotion strategy with the appointment as partners of Ugo AUDOUARD and Marie-Alice LAFONTAINE.

Over the years, Ugo AUDOUARD has developed expertise in the transfer of companies, the restructuring of groups of companies, supporting managers and advising financial investors, in the context of equity investments, capital transfer operations and development capital. He is heavily involved in cross-border transactions, particularly in the industrial sector.

Ugo holds a Master 2 / D.J.C.E. Business Law obtained from the University of Toulouse and a Certificate of Specialised Studies (CES) in Tax, and had joined LAMARTINE CONSEIL in September 2014 after professional experience in France, Luxembourg and the United States.

Marie-Alice LAFONTAINE advises and litigates on all matters relating to corporate difficulties (SMEs and SMIs), both on behalf of debtors (preventive and insolvency proceedings) and on behalf of purchasers or creditors (banks and investment funds).

Marie-Alice holds a Master 2 in Business Law and an MBA from the University of Paris 2, as well as an LLB from the University of Sheffield. She joined LAMARTINE CONSEIL in November 2019.

The promotion of Ugo Audouard and Marie-Alice Lafontaine to partner reinforces the growth of the Lyon office (30 lawyers, including 7 partners), particularly in corporate law and distressed companies.

With these promotions, the leading M&A and private equity law firm in the Smid Cap category now has 24 partners and 115 consultants based in Paris, Lyon, Aix-Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes and Lille.
