LAMARTINE tops CFNEWS’ 2025 Private Equity rankings (excluding venture capital)

As it does every year, CFNEWS, the leading private equity news platform, publishes its League Tables of corporate law firms.

Alongside other leading corporate law firms, LAMARTINE CONSEIL once again secures a podium position, ranking:

• 3rd overall,
• 1st in Private Equity (excluding venture capital),
• 1st in LBO,
• 1st in build-up,
• 1st in small-cap (deals valued between €0 and €50m),
• and 3rd in smid-cap (deals valued between €50m and €250m).

LAMARTINE CONSEIL takes the top spot in the non-venture capital rankings with 96 mandates in 2025, ahead of Hogan Lovells and Fidal. The firm also leads the LBO segment with 45 mandates and ranks first in build-up transactions with 31 mandates, as well as in small-cap with 62 mandates — according to CFNEWS.
